Your Hosts: Dee & Ron Davis
Crystal Magic Balloon Company was formed in 1996, a dream of destiny in the making as Dee & Ron Davis were married in a Hot Air Balloon in 1979. They started crewing for a balloon pilot in 1989 to learn the ropes and get all the experience they could as crew before they embarked on learning to fly a balloon themselves. Dee & Ron got their first balloon in 1992 and started their training as Students, then Private and on to becoming Commercial Pilots with a lighter then Air w/heater designation ( Hot Air Balloon ). Between 1992 & 1996 they traveled and flew as much as possible so they would feel experienced enough to start their own Hot Air Balloon Ride business in the Tampa Bay Area. They have flown for The U.S. Marines, Raymond James & Assoc, Brandon Town Center, Bank of America, K-Mart & Pilon Coffee just to name a few. They were invited to participate in the Re-creation of the First Hot Air Balloon Flight in Annonay, France where Dee placed first in the competition and brought back the Honored plaque to the USA. The rest is history as Crystal Magic Balloon Company has become One of the top rated balloon ride companies in the Tampa Bay area. Ron Davis
